Medical detox allows patients to be in a safe, drug-free environment during withdrawal. They have access to a continuum of care from a team of experienced professionals. Medications may be administered to ease withdrawal symptoms. Patients will also take part in several types of therapy as part of their personalized addiction recovery plan.

MAT involves the use of medications such as methadone, buprenorphine or Suboxone to address cravings. Coupled with counseling, this program targets both physiological and psychological aspects of addiction.

MAT is offered as an outpatient service so that individuals have autonomy and flexibility and can continue regular life activities. They attend treatment at the clinic and are able to sleep in their own beds. Patients may participate in individual, group or family counseling. In these sessions, patients will come to understand the nature of addiction as a disease, their triggers and how to make resilient plans for the future.
