About Emerald Isle Recovery Center

Pathfinders Recovery Center in Lakewood, Colorado, was purchased by BayMark Health Services in 2022. BayMark has since announced the closure of this location, which they renamed Emerald Isle Recovery Center. When they were open, Pathfinders was accredited by The Joint Commission and was a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.

Medically Supervised Detox & Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Pathfinders once offered medically supervised detox from alcohol or other substances alongside dual diagnosis treatment. They recognized that substance and alcohol addiction were often associated with mental health conditions. Dual diagnosis treatment addresses both conditions simultaneously to improve the potential for successful treatment. They offered a supervised medical detox program developed based on your needs.

Customized Detox & Treatment Options

Your program typically began with a thorough evaluation to determine the level of treatment needed. This led to a customized treatment program that commonly included individual and group therapy.

Staffers recognized the importance of the family unit to addiction treatment and had family programs that brought people together through sessions and activities. This allowed families and clients to gain a better understanding of how addiction impacted their loved ones.

Trauma workshops gave tools to avoid future traumatic situations, and a team of medical professionals was available 24/7 to address the physical symptoms of withdrawal and other concerns that arise in latter stages of recovery. They used approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and holistic care to help recover from past traumatic experiences.
