About Pyramid Healthcare Inc (Altoona Detox and Inpatient facility)

Our Altoona Detox and Inpatient facility offers detoxification for teens and adults as well as short-term and long-term residential treatment programs for adults suffering from addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide professional drug, alcohol, and co-occurring disorders assessments and treatment recommendations; gender-specific recreational activities, amenities, and housing; and a small treatment community that increases clients’ opportunities for therapeutic interactions.

Policies

Clients in our detoxification program are unable to receive visitors or make phone calls, with the exception of a courtesy call upon admission and transition to an inpatient facility. Once in the inpatient program, female clients can receive visitors on Sunday from 2:15 PM – 4:15 PM; male clients can receive visitors on Saturdays from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Visitors must be on the visitation list to visit, and any items dropped off during visitation hours must be approved prior to the visit.
