Serenity Recovery Connection, formerly known as Springs Recovery Connection, is a nonprofit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado that serves adults, teens, and their families struggling with addiction. Peer support and group programs are offered for free along with several other services.
Non-Clinical Community Support For Addiction and Mental Health
Here, you’ll find a sense of community among your peers. They offer regular recovery coaching and peer-led support services. You’ll also find all kinds of recovery-related events here as well as educational and recreational workshops to help you connect with locals in your area who are going through similar struggles.
Finding Community in Recovery
Support here is available to individuals at all stages of sobriety. Whether you’re in the early stages of your recovery journey or in it for the long haul, there’s something here for everyone. This also includes specialized services for veterans and justice-involved individuals.
Various pathways to recovery are open to you here including faith-based like the Recovery Dharma program, which offers an empowered, trauma-informed approach based on Buddhist principles.
Meanwhile, you’ll also find 12-step sessions, as well as medication-supported methods, and more. The team actively advocates for recovery awareness within the local community and works closely with local agencies to foster connection and reduce stigma.
Therapeutic art sessions for recovery are also held here to help individuals reconnect with their creative flow in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment.
