About The Foundry Treatment Center – Residential

The Foundry Treatment Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is located on Alpine Plaza in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. They treat substance use and co-occurring disorders. The treatment center offers a residential treatment program for adult men in the countryside surrounded by the Rockies. They also have a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP), a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an inpatient detox program.

One of the nice things about the programs is they’re in network with a lot of major insurance providers. They’ll also work with your insurance if it’s out of network to try to reduce your costs. They also accept and are in network with RAE 1 Medicaid.

Detox starts with a full medical evaluation. This includes lab work and an in depth assessment. In the program, they can help you detox from alcohol, marijuana, opioids, cocaine and crack, stimulants, and benzodiazepines. The inpatient detox program provides around the clock monitoring by trained medical professionals, and you’ll be in a special detox room designed for comfort.

They’ll give you a custom treatment plan based on the severity, duration, and type of substances you’ve been using. They’ll provide you with a nutritionally balanced diet prepared by their in-house chef. You may also be given supplements if appropriate. You’ll be monitored for dangerous or uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and be given medications to help ease the process. Everyone’s detox is different but you can expect it to take about 3-7 days to rid your body of all harmful substances.

Once you’re free of withdrawal symptoms, you can participate in the regular residential treatment schedule. The schedule includes trauma informed care therapies. They use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), schema therapy, motivational interviewing, and eye movement desensitization therapy (EMDR). You’ll also be introduced to the core values of the 12 Step recovery model. You can participate in outdoor experiential therapies, gardening, adventure recreation, and they also offer acupuncture.

After the inpatient program, you may also decide to move to the PHP or virtual IOP. These programs offer additional support to help you maintain your sobriety.
