About The Rose House
Based in Lafayette, Colorado, The Rose House’s Women’s Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Center exclusively serves women aged 18 and older. This includes LGBTQ+ women, as well as those with complex trauma, chronic relapse histories, and dual diagnoses.
Most insurance providers are gladly accepted, along with private pay options. Clients can access insurance verification and financial support on admission. They currently don’t accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Residential Mental Health & Addiction Treatment
The facility’s primary offering is its long-term residential program for treating mental health and addiction. While it doesn’t feature detox services, the team can support individuals in finding local specialists and facilities that can provide this. For your safety, don’t attempt detox alone.
Tailored specifically for women, this program typically lasts around 90 to 180 days, depending on individuals’ unique needs. Extended care is possible if clinically recommended on a case-by-case basis.
Treatment focuses on dual diagnosis care for a range of mental health and behavioral issues, alongside targeted support for substance abuse. Residents can engage in a structured program, featuring various group and individual therapy sessions, using styles like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and the 12 Steps. Relapse prevention and life skills sessions are also provided. Alumni support and aftercare services are also integrated into programming to support a sustainable, long-term recovery.
Holistic Care in Comfortable Surroundings
The facility is designed for comfort and features homely living spaces with plush furniture for group therapy, dining, and relaxation. Outdoor gardens and lounge areas provide opportunities to reflect and reconnect with nature, while daily chef-prepared meals provide you with the energy and nutrients you need to support healing.
There are also ample opportunities to engage in activities like yoga and other exercises, along with mindfulness sessions, art therapy, and other experiential therapies. A gym is featured, and you can train with horses.
