Valiant Living (Greenwood Village)
About Valiant Living (Greenwood Village)
Valiant Living is a Joint Commission accredited men’s addiction treatment center in Greenwood Village, Colorado serving men ages 26 and older through intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization and recovery housing.
The program addresses substance use disorders, mental health conditions and intimacy disorders, sex addiction and co-occurring issues using evidence based therapies. These can include internal family systems, emotionally focused therapy and EMDR. Founded in 2017 by nationally recognized behavioral health expert Michael Dinneen, Valiant Living offers specialized care that treats the whole family system with trauma informed approaches tailored to men’s unique recovery needs.
Treatment Options for Men
Valiant Living specializes in treating intimacy disorders and sex addiction, pornography addiction and betrayal trauma with CSAT/APSATS trained professionals who understand the shame and complexity of these conditions. The men only environment removes gender related barriers and promotes peer support and authentic connection during recovery.
Treatment combines individual therapy with master’s level clinicians, group therapy and family sessions using a systems approach that views partners as trauma survivors deserving care. Sessions integrate IFS, EFT and experiential modalities like psychodrama and EMDR to address underlying trauma, relationship patterns and emotional regulation while building practical skills for lasting intimacy and wellness.
Recovery Housing
Valiant Living offers recovery housing for men ages 28 and older transitioning from primary treatment into independent living. These safe and comfortable homes provide structure, accountability and recovery coaching while clients maintain work, school or family responsibilities in a supportive sober environment. Valiant Living can also direct clients to their detox and assessment services if needed.
