About Wayside House

Wayside House is a nonprofit women’s drug and alcohol rehab in Delray Beach, Florida, serving women ages 18 and older since 1974. The program offers a full continuum of care including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) services designed specifically for women facing substance use disorders, trauma and co-occurring mental health challenges. Addiction Treatment Programs at Wayside House

Women can begin their recovery journey in Wayside House’s 90-day residential program, a structured, women-only environment where clients receive around-the-clock support, individual and group therapy and holistic services such as equine therapy, horticulture, art, music, yoga and mindfulness. The residential program addresses trauma histories, eating disorders and co-occurring concerns like depression.

After completing residential care, clients can step down to the partial hospitalization program, which runs 6 hours per day, five days per week for 30 to 45 days, with the option of supervised apartment living or returning home nightly. The intensive outpatient program is an 8-week, 24-session program focused on relapse prevention, coping skills and long-term recovery planning. All programs integrate psychiatric care, skilled counseling and a strong aftercare and alumni support network.
