Zen Mountain Sober Living
About Zen Mountain Sober Living
Zen Mountain Sober Living provides women only recovery housing across multiple homes in the Denver area, including locations in Aurora, Denver Tech Center and Centennial. The program offers a structured, phase based approach to help women transition from treatment to independent living, with a welcoming all pathways recovery philosophy that honors 12 step, SMART, faith based and other recovery methods.
Zen Mountain combines trauma informed care, compassionate accountability and a strong peer community to help women rebuild their lives after treatment or relapse.
Structured Sober Living for Women in Recovery
Zen Mountain’s traditional sober living program follows a 3 phase model designed to build stability, practice responsibility and transition toward independence. Women participate in recovery meetings, maintain productive activity hours (work, school, volunteering, or IOP), follow curfews and house responsibilities and undergo random drug and alcohol testing to ensure a safe, accountable environment.
The program emphasizes peer mentorship and hands on staff guidance, with house managers who foster connection and support. Past residents praise the structure and community, with one sharing that “Zen Mountain is an unbelievably life changing program… safe, well rounded, accountable environment,” and another noting the house manager “did a wonderful job making sure our house was safe, warm and welcoming.”
Thrive Program: A Bridge To Traditional Sober Living
For women needing higher level support before entering traditional sober living, Zen Mountain offers the Thrive Program, a short term 30 to 90 day bridge with increased structure and guidance. This track helps residents stabilize, secure employment and build recovery skills before stepping down into the phase based program.
Amenities and Getting Started
Zen Mountain operates fully furnished homes throughout the Denver metro area, with utilities, Wi Fi, linens and household essentials included. Homes feature remodeled kitchens, multiple bathrooms, spacious living areas and outdoor spaces, with easy access to public transit and community resources.
