About Three Rivers Behavioral Health
Our continuum of care at Three Rivers ensures that each patient receives an individualized assessment and treatment plan. Admissions can be voluntary or involuntary, and treatment is administered by a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, activity therapists, nurses and technicians.
At Three Rivers, adults in inpatient treatment receive care in intensive therapeutic programs. For patients experiencing critical behavioral health symptoms, this treatment provides stabilization with 24-hour nursing care.
This program provides intensive medication management, medication education, and reality-based programming to improve self-awareness.
Three Rivers’ adolescent treatment program addresses acute problems with the high degree of structure our patients need to succeed. Designed for adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17, we provide an inpatient setting that is compassionate and caring.
Treatment includes group, individual & family therapy as well as activity therapy. For adolescents with a co-occurring substance abuse disorder, we incorporate a 12 step philosophy and attendance of on-site NA and AA meetings.
Three Rivers’ inpatient program for seniors includes treatment for clinical depression, Alzheimer’s or dementia-related illnesses, combative or aggressive behaviors, addictive diseases, and other behavioral health concerns.
The Partial Hospitalization Program offers an alternative to hospitalization with a less restrictive setting that bridges the gap between acute inpatient and outpatient services for adults and seniors. The program is designed for individuals who are in need of an intense, structured program, but do not require 24-hour continuous care. Those who would qualify for the program include individuals with depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, and obsessive compulsive behavior.
Intensive outpatient treatment at Three Rivers offers an accessible, effective treatment option for substance abuse problems with inpatient detoxification or other inpatient hospitalization is not required.
The program is tailored to special needs of chemical dependent persons and their families. Participants are educated about the nature and dynamics of addiction and recovery. They identify relapse triggers and build individualized relapse prevention plans.
