The program provides evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems alongside experiential modalities like art therapy, music therapy, and adventure therapy. Ascendant serves clients across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and surrounding areas at their Midtown location near Central Park.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment for Lasting Recovery

Ascendant specializes in treating co-occurring disorders by addressing substance use alongside conditions like PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.

Treatment integrates evidence based therapies with holistic approaches to target both symptoms and root causes. Sessions focus on developing healthy coping skills and mindfulness techniques through individual therapy, group work, and detox and medication assisted treatment when needed.

Intensive Outpatient Program with Experiential Care

The IOP meets Monday through Thursday for nine hours of weekly programming combining group therapy, individual sessions, and medication management.
