Believe Recovery Services
About Believe Recovery Services
Believe Recovery Services of Tucson, Arizona, operates three sober and transitional living homes for men and women who are in or who have recently left drug or alcohol addiction treatment. These are the Genna House for Women, House of Hope for Men, and Recovery House for Women, which exclusively provide transitional living support.
These are community based programs that bring clients together in recovery. They’re designed to facilitate collaboration and friendship, allowing you to learn from and teach other residents as you navigate sobriety together. The homes can also connect you with treatment programs that offer detox or medication assisted treatment as needed.
Healing in Tucson
Time spent in the great outdoors may help boost your mood and support SUD recovery. In Tucson, this could mean a leisurely walk through Catalina State Park, a hike or bike ride across the desert of Saguaro National Park, or taking in the stunning views of Sabino Canyon. However you choose to do it, be sure to make time to celebrate your progress in recovery.
A Community in Recovery
I think the greatest strength of sober/transitional living programs like this is the group dynamic. Residents may not be involved in the same groups as one another, but thanks to the personalized treatment plans they receive, you’ll be spending time together in one way or another. This structure facilitates the social aspect that’s so beneficial to substance abuse recovery.
What I find interesting is that many of the groups offered in these programs have the capacity to be peer led in one way or another. Everyone has something they can share with others and are given the chance to. It illustrates how much peers can help one another in recovery.
An Encouraging Environment
It’s not just clients boosting each other in recovery. Past residents have reported that the staff are incredibly encouraging and go beyond their duties to help with daily living. They echo that it’s an incredibly supportive environment with a strong sense of community.
