About Bronx TASC

Bronx TASC is part of the EAC Network, which stands for Empower, Assist, Care. They were founded in 1969 and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2019. Some programs are free and supported by donations, and others are fee-based.

In 2024, the Bronx TASC served 1,157 clients who were funded by several governmental programs and private donations. The program provides an alternative to incarceration for individuals who are dealing with addiction.

They place eligible nonviolent offenders into treatment programs using a case management system. They act as a boundary between the court and community-based treatment service providers. If you require detox services or other medication assisted treatment, they can refer you to a higher level of care.

In addition to addiction treatment, they also offer treatment for anger management, domestic violence, and other mental health conditions that are commonly associated with substance use disorders.

Your programs are culturally congruent and accommodate your unique needs. For example, if you speak Spanish or you’re deaf, you still receive quality care. Your program uses evidence-based therapies and trauma-informed case management to keep you engaged in treatment and prevent incarceration.

Since 1995, they have had a felony success rate greater than 70%, reducing recidivism and ensuring you receive addiction treatment that empowers you to improve your quality of life.
