Calvary West Valley IOP

About Calvary West Valley IOP
Calvary Healing Center offers multiple addiction and mental health treatment programs in Arizona, including the West Valley Intensive Outpatient Program in Glendale. The Glendale location offers partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The programs do not include detoxification; however, the staff can refer you to the organization’s detox center in Montebello if you need detox before beginning your treatment program.
The organization accepts many types of insurance, including VA insurance and Teamsters. The programs are in network with many insurance providers. The facility is just off Loop 101 (Arizona State Route) by West Union Hills Drive.
Step Down Care Programs
The facility is near Thunderbird Conservation Park, which has over 1,000 acres and offers panoramic views of the Phoenix skyline, mountain ranges, suburbs and city. There are mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking trails where clients can take some time out to relax between treatment sessions.
The PHP and IOP can serve as step downs from inpatient care. Alternatively, for those who can’t commit to an inpatient program, the PHP offers much of the same programming, but you can still live at home.
Highly Rated Treatment Center
Newsweek named the organization as one of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers in 2025. The programs are CARF accredited and LegitScript certified. The certifications offer evidence of the staff’s ongoing commitment to offering high quality addiction treatment programs.
Faith Based Treatment Track
One of the unique offerings at this center is the faith based addiction treatment track. This is a voluntary track available in all the treatment programs.
The track includes daily devotional and prayer groups, weekly chapel services, daily Bible studies, weekly discipleship groups and pastor-led education. The track encourages you to explore your relationship with God, build a strong spiritual foundation and connect with others that share a similar spirituality.
