Sober Living in Cortland
Clients enter through clinical referral and begin transitional housing while attending off site outpatient substance use programs. They do not provide detox or prescribe medications but can refer residents to a psychiatrist who can provide this treatment.
Throughout their stay, residents engage in individual counseling, group counseling, and family counseling, supported by cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation.
On-site services include recovery coaching, vocational assistance, case management, and transportation to appointments, alongside trauma-informed counseling, health education, and peer connection through the Wishing Wellness Center.
