About Christ for the World
Christ for the World The Bridge is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program in Fort Smith, Arkansas, serving adults seeking recovery from addiction. The program offers intensive outpatient and standard outpatient services, as well as outpatient detoxification support.
With a faith based foundation and specialized programming for trauma survivors, pregnant and postpartum women and individuals living with HIV/AIDS, The Bridge combines evidence based care with compassionate, person centered support.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment Programs at The Bridge
Clients begin with an assessment to determine the appropriate level of outpatient care, which may include intensive outpatient program (IOP) or traditional outpatient counseling. The program also provides outpatient detox services to help manage withdrawal in a safe, supportive setting. The Bridge does not treat opioid addiction.
Evidence Based Clinical Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders
Treatment includes individual psychotherapy, group education and discussion, family and couples counseling and 12 step facilitation. The clinical team uses evidence based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) and trauma informed counseling to address both substance use and co occurring challenges.
The program accepts private insurance, state health insurance (not Medicaid), cash or self payment, Access to Recovery vouchers and IHS Tribal Urban funds; payment assistance available.
