About Arizona Counseling and Treatment Services Safford

Arizona Counseling and Treatment Services is an addiction treatment center in Safford, Arizona, offering outpatient mental health and substance use treatment programs for adolescents and adults. The facility provides intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient services, outpatient detox, and partial hospitalization (day treatment) to meet clients at various stages of recovery.

Evidence Based Dual Diagnosis Approach to Addiction Treatment

The program takes a dual diagnosis approach, addressing both addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions through evidence based and 12 step principles. Treatment begins with a medical and mental health assessment to develop a personalized care plan. Clients may enter through outpatient detoxification, transition into intensive outpatient programming, or start with less intensive outpatient services depending on individual needs and the severity of their substance use.

Medication Assisted Treatment with FDA Cleared Medication

The program incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), alongside individual, group, and family counseling. Medication assisted treatment is available with buprenorphine and naltrexone (both injectable and oral) to support recovery from opioid dependence, and the facility accepts clients continuing methadone or opioid medication during treatment.

Bilingual treatment options are available for Spanish speaking clients, and accommodations for hearing impaired clients. They work with Medicare, Medicaid and Access to Recovery vouchers. They offer sliding scale fees and payment assistance when you are eligible.
