About Crossroads Mission

Crossroads Mission of Yuma in Arizona is a nonprofit that provides social, mental health, and addiction treatment services to individuals of all ages, including the homeless. This is a faith-based Christian organization that believes that everyone can achieve a fresh start. Having served locals since 1959 as a community kitchen, it’s grown into a multi-service organization to support individuals in their time of need.

A Drug Detox Center in Southwest Arizona

Known as the First Step Center, it’s so named because this is where you can confidently take your first step in the recovery journey. Open 24/7, the center provides 24-hour monitoring through this process by certified emergency medical technicians. Nurse practitioners are also on hand to provide medical services and detox to stabilize you. You can stay here for up to 10 days during this phase.

Your treatment will be guided by a personalized care plan. English/Spanish interpreters are also available here to make services more accessible to non-native English speakers.

The New Life Residential Drug Rehab Program

Along with its detox services, the center also provides an addiction treatment program based on the 12 Step recovery model. The program also features an emphasis on seeking a higher power to support your journey of growth and healing.

New Life is a residential program that takes place over 120 days and features peer support services, alongside individual and group therapy to help you get to the heart of your addiction issues. Case management is also available, providing you with comprehensive support, alongside all of the essentials like clothing, food, and social support.
