Gateway Rehab Green Tree is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient addiction treatment facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as part of the largest drug rehab network in western Pennsylvania. The center serves the Greentree area of Pittsburgh with in person care on weekdays and telehealth options.

Gateway Rehab operates with extended evening hours until 9 PM Monday through Thursday.  Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance coverages are accepted with financial assistance available.

An Awarded Outpatient Detox

Gateway Rehab Green Tree specializes in opioid use disorder and alcohol addiction treatment as part of Pennsylvania’s designated Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence. The facility offers detox and medication assisted treatment combining medications like Sublocade, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and ReVia with psychosocial counseling to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

Outpatient sessions meet four to five times weekly with individual and group therapy that addresses underlying issues through trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. The program provides medically monitored detox lasting three days to two weeks with seamless transitions to ongoing outpatient care, ensuring comprehensive support throughout every stage of recovery.

EMDR Therapy for Trauma and Addiction

Gateway Rehab Green Tree incorporates EMDR therapy to target trauma related substance abuse. This advanced modality helps clients process traumatic memories and experiences that fuel addiction, complementing traditional 12 step facilitation and relapse prevention strategies for more comprehensive healing.
