About Perception Counseling

Perception Counseling is a private outpatient treatment center in Tucson, Arizona that specializes in substance use disorders, mental health treatment, and dual diagnosis care. Legally Required Programs and Treatment

Perception Counseling offers mandated treatment, serving clients referred from Superior Courts, Federal Courts, Tucson City Courts, and Pima County Consolidated Courts.

They provide DUI screening, treatment, education, probation referred programs, and electronic submittal services directly to the Arizona Department of Transportation for motor vehicle revocation cases.

Treatment integrates legal requirements with comprehensive substance abuse care offering individual and group counseling that addresses both court obligations and underlying addiction issues.

Detox Referrals and Dual Diagnosis Treatment

The center specializes in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders with a trauma informed approach. Clients needing detox services will be referred to a treatment facility with this capability.

Treatment is offered for Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, relationship issues, personality disorders, and emotional regulation through outpatient and intensive outpatient programs tailored to adults, young adults, veterans, and LGBTQ individuals.
