Pyramid Healthcare is a large healthcare network and one of their facilities is Hillside Men’s Detox and Inpatient Treatment Center in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The 16-acre campus is specialized for adult men. They accept most private insurance plans including plans from Cigna, ComPsych, United Healthcare and others. They also accept Medicaid as well as state funding and county funding.

For a lot of men, detox can be the first step on their recovery journey. The goal of detox is to get you stabilized physically and emotionally so you can start your treatment fresh and ready for growth. Throughout your time at this facility, you’ll have medical supervision around-the-clock so they can make sure you’re safe and as comfortable as possible.

Your treatment at the detox center will be fully customized to you but you’ll also be with other men who are going through the same process. That peer support is a core part of the program and it allows you to build a community of people who understand what you’re going through.

They’ll also prepare you for your treatment journey and help you understand what to expect. For most patients, that next step is to transition into Hillside’s residential rehab center. There, they can attend therapy and learn skills to help them continue their long-term recovery.
