About Steps to Recovery
Steps to Recovery is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Levittown, Pennsylvania serving adults throughout Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area.
Established in 2013 as part of the STR Behavioral Health network, the center offers a full continuum of outpatient care including Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and traditional outpatient programs for substance use, mental health and dual diagnosis treatment.
The program emphasizes authenticity, community connection and individualized care to help clients uncover the reasons behind their disorders and build a foundation for lasting recovery.
Treatment typically begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and biopsychosocial assessment to determine the right level of care.
Clients may start in the Partial Hospitalization Program, which runs six days a week and includes twice weekly individual therapy, psychiatric evaluation and ongoing clinical support, or step into the Intensive Outpatient Program offered during daytime or evening hours three days per week.
Across all programs, clients receive evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing along with Medication Assisted Treatment when appropriate.
Group counseling, family therapy, relapse prevention planning and psychoeducation are integrated into each level of care with clinical teams meeting regularly to adjust treatment plans as clients progress toward outpatient services and alumni support.
