About TCN Behavioral Health Fairborn
TCN Behavioral Health is a nonprofit CARF accredited organization that offers substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services. They also offer outpatient detox through medication assisted treatment (MAT). You can pay for services with most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and military insurance, such as TRICARE. The organization has several locations, including the facility in Fairborn, Ohio.
Providing Access to Addiction Treatment in Ohio
The Fairborn treatment center is conveniently located off I-675. It’s only 11 miles from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, making it a good treatment location for active military personnel. There are lots of green spaces and community parks offering a supportive and healing environment that clients can integrate into their recovery programs.
The treatment team welcomes clients in the LGBTQ community and understands the unique challenges facing LGBTQ individuals. In addition to MAT, all clients have access to psychiatric services, case management, and individual and group counseling for co-occurring mental health conditions.
There are also services for clients referred from the judicial system. Those who’ve experienced trauma, including sexual assault survivors and/or domestic violence, can find the help they need to move forward in their lives.
The experienced clinicians also treat individuals with HIV/AIDS. HIV positive clients also have unique needs, and the team helps them treat not only substance use, but also emotions related to their disease. There’s also an onsite pharmacy for client convenience.
The organization provides psychiatric, counseling, and case management services specifically for children and adolescents. All clients can receive 24/7 crisis services, and the center is a provider for the 988 National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
Recovery Housing for Women and Men
Notably, there are gender specific recovery houses. This includes a residential recovery program for men. The men’s residential recovery program includes a more intense level of treatment than outpatient services can provide.
The program typically takes about 60 days to complete, but varies based on individual needs. While in residential treatment, you’ll practice recovery oriented activities, find local community support services, and use social support.
Levels of Care
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
Detox Service Setting
