About Catholic Charities Family and Community Services

Catholic Charities Family and Community Services is an addiction treatment provider in Rochester, New York that offers outpatient chemical dependency services and intensive residential programs for adults recovering from substance use disorders.

Through its Restart program the center provides walk-in access, outpatient counseling, and integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and addiction challenges. With over a century of service in the Finger Lakes Region, Catholic Charities uses a motivational, trauma-informed approach that embraces the cultural and language needs of each client.

Intensive Residential Detox and Restart Outpatient

The Restart Outpatient Clinic welcomes adults 18 and older with substance use problems or co-occurring disorders and offers walk-in Open Access hours Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Clients can also schedule phone intake evaluations and appointments for assessment and individualized treatment planning.

Treatment includes individual therapy, group therapy, case management, relapse prevention, detox and medication management, and peer led support groups  along with 12-step programming.

Special Programs for Mothers with Children

Intensive residential services provide 24 hour structured treatment for stabilization and rehabilitation with specialized programs for pregnant women and mothers with young children who can remain together during treatment. All services are available in both English and Spanish.
