Corazon Integrated Healthcare in Casa Grande, Arizona, offers outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment for children through seniors. They were founded in 2002 and services are provided in English and Spanish. Corazon provides specialized treatment programs for members of the LGBTQ+ community and also accepts referrals for court ordered addiction treatment. Medicare is not accepted.
Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment
At Corazon, individuals in need of medication-assisted treatment can receive the help they need. They offer buprenorphine with naloxone, buprenorphine without naloxone, clonidine and non-nicotine smoking/tobacco cessation medications. Do note that smoking is permitted, but only in selected areas.
Outpatient Treatment at Corazon
Individuals with alcohol or substance use disorder can participate in their outpatient treatment programs that include individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy and substance use education. Along with a mix of psychotherapy modalities, they utilize the Matrix Model approach to substance use disorder treatment. The Matrix Model is an integrated approach for recovery, providing an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that lasts 16 weeks to help individuals achieve and maintain long term recovery.
Their mental health professionals recognize the importance of providing a trauma informed approach to the treatment of co-occurring mental health disorders. Additionally, they provide services for those who have experienced domestic violence or other traumatic events that can negatively impact mental health.
The case management team at Corazon can also help with vocational and educational support, social skills training and transportation assistance.
Individuals who have completed a treatment can participate in the Aftercare program at Corazon, which is often a critical component of relapse prevention.
Paying for Treatment at Corazon Integrated Healthcare
Corazon accepts many private insurance plans and IHS/Tribal/Urban (ITU) funds. Inability to pay should never be a deterrent from seeking treatment. They offer an income based sliding scale payment program for those who qualify.
