Van Dyke Addiction Treatment Center is operated by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports as a residential addiction treatment facility in Ovid, New York. The center provides inpatient care with individual, group, and family therapy for adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Van Dyke uses a sliding fee scale based on income and household size and accepts all insurance, Medicaid, state funding, and private pay and never turns a client away due to their inability to pay.

Inpatient Detox and Treatment

The center provides residential inpatient treatment lasting two to six weeks with 24 hour medical and emotional support. Treatment includes individual and group counseling, family therapy, detox and medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders, and evidence based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Gender specific programming addresses unique challenges men and women face in recovery and the facility supports clients with co-occurring mental health disorders through psychiatric care and medication management.

Help at Van Dyke for Adults

The center serves adults over 18 with substance use disorders who need inpatient care, need to step away from unsupportive environments, or have mental or physical complications requiring residential treatment. The facility accepts referrals from healthcare providers, community agencies, and the criminal justice system.
