Eastside Outpatient Services
About Eastside Outpatient Services
Eastside Outpatient Services provides recovery solutions for substance abuse issues for adults. They’re based in an industrial corner of Muskegon, Michigan. Their goal is to offer hope for lasting sobriety in a secure and welcoming environment where everyone feels accepted.
Offering Medications for Relief
Eastside Outpatient understands that some guests avoid treatment due to the fear of withdrawal. While recovery is not easy, tools such as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can help. MAT uses FDA-approved methadone and Suboxone to relieve symptoms and reduce cravings for guests struggling with alcohol or opioid addiction.
Guests also attend counseling sessions to work through past traumas that may have contributed to substance use. Counselors can help them develop healthy coping skills for life’s stressors, recognize substance use triggers, and learn how to prevent relapse issues after treatment.
Guidance From Peers
One of the standout features included in the program is the peer recovery service. Peers understand the challenges that sometimes accompany substance abuse, and they can help guide clients through the process.
Peers also keep clients engaged in treatment with customized care plans and support that removes additional barriers to ongoing recovery treatment. They help celebrate recovery milestones and encourage connections to community agencies and resources.
The center works with most health insurance plans, including Medicaid. They also have private payment plans for clients without healthcare coverage.
The outpatient programs allow guests the time to visit nearby areas that promote healing and recovery, including McGraft Park, Muskegon Lake, and Lake Michigan. It’s also in proximity to numerous community resources, which offer support groups and recreational activities for ongoing recovery assistance.
