About Hopi Health Care Center
Hopi Health Care Center is an Indian Health Services facility in Polacca, Arizona that provides substance abuse treatment and mental health services through its Behavioral Health division. This tribally operated program delivers culturally sensitive and evidence based care to address co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in the Native American community.
Outpatient Detox at Hopi Health Care Center
Clients can begin with an outpatient detox program where withdrawal is medically supervised with medication to manage symptoms and cravings. Intensive outpatient treatment programs require nine to 15 hours per week of structured care virtually or in the office.
Treatment includes individual, group, family, and couples counseling using evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care. The program also addresses dual diagnosis, relapse prevention, anger management, and offers 12-step facilitation and the Matrix Model for adolescents, adults, seniors, veterans, and other special populations.
