About Horizon Health Services Lockport Recovery Center
The Lockport Recovery Center is operated by Horizon Health Services in Lockport, New York. The center is a private nonprofit outpatient facility that supports individuals battling substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. This CARF accredited facility uses a client centered approach to foster recovery through evidence based care for adolescents, young adults and adults. They also offer specialized programs for women, men and pregnant/postpartum individuals. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, TRICARE and self payment. They also provide SAMHSA funding when available.
Outpatient Treatment Options
The center offers flexible outpatient programs that include an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and regular outpatient treatment. Outpatient treatment will allow you to maintain your daily responsibilities while receiving care.
Their services include comprehensive substance abuse and mental health assessments as well as individual and group counseling. Their therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and trauma related counseling.
You will have the option to partake in their medication assisted treatment (MAT). They use FDA approved medications like
buprenorphine, naltrexone, and other medications to support recovery from opioid and alcohol dependence.
Counseling and Recovery Coaching
They offer additional therapy such as family therapy, anger management, relapse prevention and smoking cessation counseling. I like that you can attend these sessions in person or via telehealth for accessibility.
You will be able to partake in their support services that consist of recovery coaching, employment counseling and naloxone education to enhance long term sobriety. The center serves diverse populations that include those with court referrals, veterans and LGBTQ+ individuals.
