Phoenix House Hauppauge Residential is a CARF accredited addiction treatment center in Hauppauge, New York that offers residential detox and inpatient programs for adult men. The facility provides short term treatment from 14 to 30 days and long term treatment up to 90 days for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Phoenix House Hauppauge offers medication assisted residential detox and both short term and long term residential treatment. Services include individual and group counseling, psychiatric evaluations, relapse prevention education, and 12 step methods.

Treatment for a Diversity of Clients

The residential facility serves adult men and young adults struggling with alcoholism, opioid addiction, cocaine, methamphetamine, and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Phoenix House Hauppauge also offers a specialized military community services program designed for veterans, active military personnel, and their families, with treatment focused on PTSD and military related challenges.

Detox and Therapies

The center uses evidence based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma related counseling. Detox and medication assisted treatment with buprenorphine, naltrexone, and disulfiram is available, along with therapeutic groups for anger management, grief and loss, and healthy relationships.

The program accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most major private insurance carriers, and state financed health insurance plans. Cash or self payment with sliding fee scales and federal or government funding are also available.
