Recovery Unlimited Treatment

About Recovery Unlimited Treatment
The clinic was founded by Richard T Robinson, MD., a board certified internist and addictionologist with over 25 years of experience in the field of substance abuse. The clinic offers medication assisted therapy for opiate addiction and in addition, other services are provided either on site or by referral to create a comprehensive treatment system. Staff training is considered an integral part of the treatment system through individual supervision, group case conference and weekly seminar. The clinic closely collaborates in an extensive network of service providers to further enhance services to the individual. The clinic is located in Mt Morris, Michigan, directly on a municipal bus line.
Recovery Unlimited Treatment Center strongly believes in the disease concept of chemical dependency, that opiate dependent persons have-due to long use of opiates—developed a deficiency of natural endorphins that causes a profound sickness, manifested as a defined constellation of symptoms referred to as “acute withdrawal syndrome”. This syndrome is best treated with methadone or Suboxone, which restores the chemical imbalance in the brain and allows opiate dependent persons to function normally without the use of other opiates. It is our mission to treat as many opiate dependent persons as humanly possible, educate the general public about the disease concept of chemical dependency, and to help remove the stigma attached to chemically dependent persons.
