Samaritan Daytop Village 8th Avenue is an outpatient addiction treatment center in New York City, New York that serves adults in Midtown Manhattan. The facility offers outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient detox, with evening hours from 6 to 9pm.

Samaritan Daytop Village accepts Medicaid, Medicare, state financed health insurance plans, and private insurance. A sliding fee scale based on income. Walk-in admissions are accepted Monday through Saturday.

Detox for Subacute Symptoms

Samaritan Daytop Village provides virtual outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and medically supervised outpatient detox for mild to moderate withdrawal. Medication assisted treatment with methadone and Suboxone is dispensed on-site under medical supervision during business hours.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

The center serves adult men and women, young adults ages 18-25, DUI/DWI clients, and court referred individuals  with gender specific programming. Dual diagnosis treatment is available for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and Spanish language services are offered.

Treatment with On-site Childcare

Treatment combines individual, group, family, and couples counseling with evidence based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care. The center also provides vocational rehabilitation, job training, housing assistance, case management, and on-site childcare for parents in treatment.
