Steward Good Samaritan/NORCAP/ATS

About Steward Good Samaritan/NORCAP/ATS
The Morton Comprehensive Addiction Program (MORCAP), previously the Good Samaritan NORCAP, provides medically supervised detox, inpatient addiction treatment, and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adults in Taunton, Massachusetts. After detox ends, clients are referred to the appropriate next step in their recovery process.
Clients in medical detox receive medication and other treatments to address withdrawal symptoms, which addresses a major obstacle that many people have in seeking treatment. Detox also includes individual and group therapy along with treatment planning so clients are mentally and emotionally ready for long-term recovery.
Upon completing detox, clients are referred to either residential or outpatient alcohol and drug rehab. Residential treatment allows clients to focus only on recovery, while outpatient care can help those who are more medically stable to get treatment while working or attending school.
Morton Hospital may accept a variety of insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, United Healthcare, and more. Insurance plans vary, so be sure to verify coverage information and out-of-network benefits with the insurer.
