At the gender-specific residential program locations, our team members work hard to understand—and to help clients understand and combat—the underlying causes of turning to substances. ATS residential programs average twenty-eight days. However, length of treatment is based on individual client needs—because substance abuse is part of a broader picture. After we learn about our clients’ journeys so far and their personal goals, we develop ideal recovery plans built around experience, cutting-edge research and local community support. The Women’s Residential Program helps women determine and address together the array of issues contributing to their substance dependence. In addition, residents can develop skills for a full recovery, including emotional management, relationship building and relapse prevention strategies.
