Broken Chains Recovery Center
About Broken Chains Recovery Center
Broken Chains Recovery Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, partners with local detox programs to provide a sober living environment for those who are homeless, are veterans, or can’t return to a sober home or community.
Logistics with Broken Chains
The center is a nonprofit charity that introduces residents to a loving God that guides them to recovery through the Holy Scriptures. The center offers fellowship and support for residents as they struggle with temptations of addiction. Residents overcome substance use disorder through faith in a higher power.
The center offers more than a sober living environment. You’ll be assisted in preparing for the GED test, network to gain employment or an apprenticeship, assistance creating a resume, and vocational training.
Your first 30 days will be rent free while you attend substance use treatment classes. You will learn how to budget your money and increase your credit score. Peer support counseling is offered by volunteer staff.
Activities are sometimes easier when they are available where we live. The center provides Alcoholics Anonymous meetings twice per week, Narcotics Anonymous meetings twice per week, and faith-based meetings three days per week.
