About Great Lakes Recovery Centers – Women’s New Hope House

Great Lakes Recovery Centers – Women’s New Hope House has the capacity to help 22 adult women detox safely and start their addiction recovery journey. They’ve created a homey and encouraging environment, filled with colorful art and murals.

You’ll find them in central Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, in a quiet neighborhood that allows you to focus on your recovery without distractions.

Keep Young Children With You During Treatment

One of the best parts about the Women’s New Hope House is their Women and Families program, which makes it possible for mothers with children younger than 11 years to bring them to treatment.

While you’re busy with therapy, nutrition or parenting classes, or spirituality sessions, your kids are looked after by kind and fun staff. They’ll also attend age-appropriate counseling. The team can assist with school enrollment when your kids are old enough to start their education journey.

Community Living While Preparing for Long-Term Sobriety

With daily shared meals and lots of group programming, Women’s New Hope House is like a shortcut to community.

Part of the programming includes looking toward the future and putting systems and habits in place that support your sobriety, which includes looking after the relationships you form with the other residents.
