About New Life Treatment Woodstock
You can find the New Life Treatment Center behind the Woodstock Community Church in Woodstock, Minnesota. They offer ambulatory detox services for people experiencing addiction to alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamines, and opioids. Their residential program includes 24/7 nursing care.
Their programs target adult men and women, adults with co-occurring disorders, and incarcerated individuals at Prairie Justice Center in Nobles County.
Well-rounded Residential Care</h3
When founded in 1977, New Life provided a faith-based treatment option to anyone in the community struggling with addiction. Although their approach has evolved and expanded since then, it still emphasizes a 12-step approach and includes spiritual assessment and care.
The residential program is highly structured, with separate units for men and women. Residents are expected to follow the rules and remain respectful of staff who remind them of restrictions they’ve forgotten. The only medications you may receive are those brought with you in their original containers or any PRN meds.
With the shared bedrooms and warm communal spaces, New Life offers the perfect backdrop for developing strong relationships with other people in recovery. For all meals except breakfast, you’ll eat together and chat with the other residents like a family. There’s also laundry, a pool and rec room, and a kid’s playground for family visits.
During your free time, you’ll be able to bond even further while enjoying the pool, volleyball court, or exercise facilities.
Flexible Intensive Outpatient Program
The team believes that the less of your routine you disrupt when seeking treatment, the easier it’ll be to keep going. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed to fit around most people’s work schedules, with group meetings happening on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
During cases of extreme weather, they run these sessions online.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
