About Park Avenue Center

Park Avenue Center is a community-based addiction treatment center in Minneapolis, Minnesota offering gender specific outpatient programs for adults seeking recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Since 1979 the center has provided a full continuum of care including outpatient services with specialized tracks for complex co-occurring disorders and culturally specific programming for African-American clients.

Detox and Complex Co-occurring Programs

Outpatient services includes partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and general outpatient programming each designed to meet individual needs and structured around ASAM criteria.

Treatment incorporates client and group counseling, family therapy, and relapse prevention. Detox and medication assisted treatment options include Suboxone, naltrexone, and Campral.

A Complex Co-occurring Program for clients with higher acuity mental health needs provides increased supervision, smaller groups, and extended case management to address both addiction and severe mental illness.
