About Wellcome Manor Family Services
Wellcome Manor Family Services is a women only residential addiction treatment center in Garden City, Minnesota, offering comprehensive substance use and mental health care for women and mothers in recovery. The program provides ASAM Level 3.5 and ASAM Level 3.1 residential services, with an on-site licensed daycare that allows mothers to stay present with their children during treatment. Wellcome Manor takes a whole person approach that addresses mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health through evidence based therapies and integrated co-occurring disorder support.
Addiction Treatment Programs at Wellcome Manor Family Services
Treatment begins with ASAM Level 3.5 high-intensity residential programming, which includes an average 90-day stay and more than 40 hours per week of structured care. Clients work with both a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a mental health therapist to develop individualized treatment plans, participate in individual and group therapy and attend on-site NA meetings.
As progress is made, women can transition to ASAM Level 3.1 medium/low-intensity programming, which supports continued recovery over 30 to 90 days with off-site AA and NA groups, therapeutic home passes, sober outings and volunteer opportunities. Throughout both levels, clients engage in cognitive behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, mindful meditation, parenting education, women’s issues groups and 12-step programming to build lasting recovery skills and family stability.
