ABARIS Behavioral Health Sober Living focuses on providing safe, stable, and structured transitional housing for individuals committed to sustained recovery from substance use disorders. The program operates as part of a CARF accredited behavioral health organization that serves communities throughout southeastern Michigan, including Oakland and Macomb Counties.

Residents benefit from an environment designed to promote accountability, consistency and personal growth. Programming emphasizes relapse prevention strategies, successful return to work and community involvement and the development of practical skills that support long term independence and self sufficiency.

Dual Diagnosis and Comprehensive Behavioral Health Care

ABARIS provides specialized support for individuals managing both mental health conditions and substance use disorders. This dual diagnosis approach ensures that emotional wellness and recovery goals are addressed together rather than separately.

Residents have access to evidence based services such as cognitive behavioral therapy, individual counseling, group therapy, and relapse prevention education. The organization also delivers inclusive care for diverse populations, including LGBTQIA individuals, older adults and pregnant or postpartum women, ensuring that services are responsive to varied personal and cultural needs.

The program accepts cash payment and private insurance, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Humana. Coverage is also available through Medicaid, Medicare, and TRICARE.
