Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Sacred Connections is an outpatient addiction treatment and mental health program in El Paso, Texas that serves tribal members and their families on the Tigua Indian Reservation. Sacred Connections is operated by the tribal government and integrates traditional Tigua healing practices with evidence based care.

Detox and Medication Assisted Treatment

Outpatient services include individual, group, and family counseling delivered in an intensive, culturally responsive, trauma informed format, with a 24 hour crisis line available for emergencies.

The program uses evidence based approaches such as the Matrix model, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing combined with detox and medication assisted treatment including naltrexone for opioid use disorder.

Clients also participate in recovery focused life skills training, traditional drum therapy, and complementary therapies such as acupuncture, nutrition counseling, and fitness programs.
