Wayside Family Treatment Center offers assistance for pregnant women and mothers with children who are facing substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health issues. They’re one of two residential programs operated by Wayside Recovery Center, a leading provider of addiction recovery for women in Minnesota since 1954.
Wayside Family Treatment Center is located on Clinton Avenue South in Minneapolis. Historically, entering residential care has long been a challenge for many women with children due to uncertainty around how their children would be looked after during treatment. Wayside Family Treatment Center is one of the providers in Minnesota that offers residential treatment for women with up to three of their children between infancy and the age of 11.
Medication Assisted Treatment To Control Withdrawal Symptoms
Medication-assisted treatment can be included in your personalized care plan if it’s clinically appropriate to help reduce relapse risk. Through medication, your withdrawal symptoms can be reduced and your cravings can be managed so you can focus more on your recovery. In combination with medication, you’ll receive counseling to uncover the underlying issues contributing to your addiction and develop effective coping skills to prevent relapse.
