About Catalyst Life Services Shelby

Catalyst Life Services is a nonprofit, private, CARF accredited addiction and mental treatment network. There are several locations including the outpatient facility in Shelby, Ohio which offers addiction and mental health treatment for clients 18 and older.

The Shelby office does not provide detoxification services but the staff can connect you with the detox and withdrawal management services within the network. Please don’t try to detox on your own as it can be dangerous and even fatal.

The organization accepts insurance from a wide range of providers. They accept Medicare and Medicaid, and they offer an income based sliding scale payment structure for eligible clients. The facility is located near Black Fork Commons Park, the Shelby Historic Train Depot, and the local downtown businesses.

Wraparound Community Services

In addition to mental health and drug treatment services, the staff provides wraparound community services for individuals with complex needs. Wraparound services include vocational training, such as computer education and employment services.

Clients have expressed their appreciation for the professional, caring, and supportive staff who have helped them improve their life function and overall well-being.

Services for Hard of Hearing

The organization strives to help bridge the gap for those in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Although the Shelby office doesn’t provide audiology services, the staff can connect you to their deaf and audiology treatment services.
