About Zepf Center Recovery Housing
Formerly known as Compass Corporation for Recovery Services (COMPASS), this facility now goes by the name Zepf Center Recovery Housing. Based in Toledo, Ohio, this residential sober living facility provides support to adults aged 18 and older struggling with substance abuse. Medicaid is accepted, along with various commercial health plans, and sliding scale fees are also available to those eligible.
Addiction Recovery Housing at the Western Tip of Lake Erie
This facility leads with a strengths based approach, supporting individuals using 12 step facilitation, and with the utmost cultural sensitivity. Care is gender-specific, with houses split between men’s and women’s accommodations.
Individuals managing concurrent conditions are welcome, as well as those using methadone to manage their withdrawal symptoms as part of an ongoing recovery plan. However, while those on medication assisted treatment are accepted, one of the admission requirements here is that detox must be completed ahead of the stay.
If this is something you have yet to complete and are seeking a provider, the team may be able to help. It must be noted that detox is not something that should be attempted alone for safety reasons.
A Personalized Drug Rehab Program
All program participants can expect personalized care, with everyone meeting one on one with a case manager each week to explore various tailored referral needs, from treatment and vocational preferences, to legal support as needed.
Residents must also attend regular sober support meetings and understand that, while on site, they will be subject to random breathalyzer and urine screens to ensure sobriety.
All residents are also assigned daily chores to complete, to offer a level of accountability and responsibility.
