About The Recovery Center

The Recovery Center is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Lancaster, Ohio serving children, adolescents, adults and families throughout Fairfield County.

Since 1973, this nonprofit organization has provided substance use disorder treatment, mental health services and gambling addiction support through a continuum of outpatient programs.

The Recovery Center uses evidence based trauma informed care and collaborates closely with community partners to support long term recovery and reintegration.

Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment and diagnostic evaluation to determine the most appropriate level of care.

Clients may enter intensive outpatient treatment for more structured support or regular outpatient services that allow them to maintain work, school and family responsibilities while receiving care.

Programs include individual, group, family and couples counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model and 12 step facilitation.

The Recovery Center also offers medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders with buprenorphine and naltrexone, addresses cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders and provides crisis intervention on a walk in basis during Open Access hours.
