Medically Monitored Detoxification in Comfortable Surroundings

The goal of Bright Future Recovery’s detox is to create a safe and comfortable environment for clients to detox from substances. The length of stay in the Bright Future detox program depends on several factors but typically lasts 7 to 10 days. Medications are prescribed to help minimize the impacts of withdrawal by reducing cravings and other associated symptoms.

Clients are monitored 24/7 to ensure their safety and comfort, and the home-like environment provides a calming environment, crucial to healing. They have hardwood floors, a stonemason fireplace, and natural accents to put your mind at ease. They use a holistic treatment approach with personalized treatment plans that address each client as a “whole person” by helping them to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Following medically monitored detox, clients can transition into the residential program or intensive outpatient program. They’ll continue receiving management medications to keep cravings at bay while they tackle the psychological aspects of addiction in individual and group counseling.

Written by: Gemma Davison

BSc

Having struggled with her mental health, Gemma has spent much of her writing career focused on topics surrounding behavioral health and stigmatized health issues, such as eating disorders, depression, obesity, and sexually transmitted diseases. It was a natural step to write about addiction, with her background in Biology and Research Science playing a key role in understanding chemical dependency as a disease. By writing about drug rehabilitation in an accessible and compassionate way, she hopes more people will feel encouraged to seek help.
