- Drug & Alcohol Treatment
The Last Resort treats each young person with consideration for their individual needs and problems. They develop a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to each adolescent. While the primary focus will be sobriety, there are other issues they can assess and address for the greatest success of the residents and their families.
The Last Resort specializes in the treatment of adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 years old, male and female. Staff is available 24 hours a day to help your child get the care they need. The professional staff has helped many teens and their families get their life back together.
The program utilizes an approach directed at attention to the child’s emotional growth and development, physical health, psychological health, family relations and social support. Each resident is viewed as an individual and will be treated as such. The Last Resort’s primary focus is the need to maintain sobriety. Other issues such as dual-addictions, self-esteem, anger management, eating disorders and family dysfunction will be assessed on an individual basis.
The staff will educate the residents and provide them with the tools and skills necessary for on-going self-care and recovery, including direct involvement in 12-step community based programs. The Last Resort will teach and integrate a series of new living skills which focus on the development and nurturing of one’s mind, body, and spirit and utilize the vast resource of adjunct therapies available.
