The Grover Beach Clinic, part of San Luis Obispo County’s Drug & Alcohol Services, offers drug rehab services for young adults and adults in Grover Beach, California. The center features ambulatory detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare programs. Specialized services are available for adolescents. Services are provided in English, Spanish, and other languages through a language line.

The Grover Beach Clinic has a structured environment for clients to begin their rehabilitation. Ambulatory medical detox features licensed clinicians who administer FDA-approved prescriptions, may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to lessen cravings and withdrawal pains. Clients are supervised by a case management team during treatment. Clients start their counseling programs to strengthen their sobriety.

Besides detox, clients participate in education workshops, relapse prevention strategies, and group and individual therapy. Family resources, along with primary care, are provided as needed. Telehealth is an option in selected programs. Clients with acute disorders may be referred to outside inpatient facilities at the county’s discretion.
