You can access medication assisted treatment (MAT) to meet you where you are in recovery. They accept most commercial insurance plans, Medi Cal, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, TRICARE and self pay.
Medication Assisted Treatment
With MAT, you can address the physical and emotional aspects of quitting substances at the same time. They prescribe FDA approved medications such as Suboxone or methadone to help you manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings that can disrupt recovery.
You’ll also participate in group, family, and individual therapy. They use proven methods including dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help you recognize and change the behaviors contributing to addiction.
Alternative Therapies
What stands out most to me is their alternative therapies. You can explore new self expression outlets and self-care methods to enhance your recovery journey.
Music therapy, journaling, creative writing, and art therapy are available. Additionally, they offer complimentary therapies, including yoga, outdoor therapy, mindfulness, and meditation.
Trauma Support
Another great feature that caught my eye was that they offered trauma support. Past traumatic experiences can influence addiction and your receptiveness to treatment.
They help you work through these situations with specialized therapies such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. You can access a safe, welcoming space to overcome trauma and heal.
