All American Detox
About All American Detox
The All American Detox Center provides detox and residential inpatient treatment to adults in suburban Woodland Hills, California. It’s not too far from Pierce College and Shephard Stadium.
The organization is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services and accredited by The Joint Commission. They are also LegitScript certified. They do accept insurance.
What stood out to me is that they’re a small facility. The program is based in a three bedroom home that can house six people at a time. You will share a room with another resident. There’s a fully functioning kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a living room with a flat screen television, and an outdoor sitting area where you can enjoy the sunny SoCal weather.
The minimum length of stay is 30 days. You are able to stay 60 days, 90 days, or even longer. The length of your stay is based on the severity of your substance use and meeting your treatment goals. Another thing that stood out to me, and I do like, is that you are able to work remotely.
To begin your treatment, you will speak to their pre-admissions counselor. The counselor will ask you questions about your history in regards to substance use, health, family and your mental health. These questions will help the staff determine your specific needs and challenges. Once your needs are determined, they will be able to develop your treatment plan.
During detox, your body will release all the toxins from abusing substances. They will also use a combination of therapeutic modalities to help cleanse your mind. You will be in a structured environment to eliminate any idle time. By keeping to a daily schedule, you won’t have the time for substance cravings to kick in.
